Introducing LILY ANN GRACE
OH MY GOODNESS! We can't even describe our meeting with our little Lily! We met her at approximately 10am this morning (China time!). She made a long journey by train from Xinyang to meet us here in Zenzhou. We were emotional when we got her and she only cried for about 5 mins and then she has been a great baby since, with just a bit of crying whenever we try and put her down. She has had her first bath and we got her out of her 10 layers orphanage clothes, which I have to say were big steps even though they sound ordinary. We have gotten both smiles and laughs already which are also huge and as you can see she is attached in a big way to her mama (this is Dale typing by the way). She is already showing that she eats like a Kalman and is apparently a snorer, which Nancy says is also like Daddy. We have another day of appointments tomorrow with several more after that, but if today is any indication, she is already well entrenched in our family and feels like she has always been with us. We are so thankful for this little bundle of joy that God has given to us!

She is so BEAUTIFUL!! So, so, so cute and adorable! She looks so happy and full of joy and life! I can't believe my eyes...yet I can because it's what we prayed for!! I'm so overwhelmed with all kinds of emotions! I kept waking up in the night anticipating this blog! Keep the pictures coming! We can't wait to squeeze our little Lily Love! Love and miss you guys!

ReplyDeleteWe are all freaking out here at the other Kalman house! We have looked at all the pictures over and over, thanks so much for posting them! Oscar told me when we were picking out his brithday cake last night that he wanted to save a piece for Lily, you guys are always on our minds!
